Event details
Robin Littell, MFA, leads a Saturday Writing Seminar at Antioch College
The flash form (1000 words or less) is a genre that challenges writers to distill stories down to the most important moments, the moments not seen until revealed through the writer’s unwavering attention to language and image. We can bring to life the fictional stories that hide deep in our imaginations or we can offer the world our simple, sometimes gut-wrenching, truths. Either way, the flash form is here for it and can hold whatever we give it up to the light. Participants in this Saturday seminar can submit up to two flash/short short manuscripts to the instructor in advance for critique, and participate in a reading just after the seminar’s conclusion.
