7 Festivals
It's time for Gyros & Baklavas! Dayton Greek Festival is back this weekend at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church ner the Dayton Art Institute. Enjoy live music & dancing, amazing Greek food and pastries. Festival hours are Friday 11am-10pm, Saturday 11am-10pm, and Sunday 12pm-4pm.
Also this weekend: Italian Fall Festa, Beavercreek Popcorn Festival, Clinton County Corn Festival and Huber Heights Marigold Festival.
The Dayton area also has two Oktoberfest Celebrations happening this weekend: Springboro Oktoberfest will be held at the Springboro United Church of Christ Friday 6-10pm and Saturday 11am-11pm. Vandalia Sister Cities Oktoberfest at the Vandalia Recreation Center Friday 6-10pm and Saturday 12pm-11pm. (Can't make it to Springboro or Vandalia this weekend? There are several more Oktoberfest Celebrations around Dayton through mid-October). PROST!
3 Shows
Grounded: The story of a hot-shot F16 fighter pilot whose unexpected pregnancy ends her career in the sky. This is opening weekend for Grounded, presented by The Human Race Theatre Company at The Loft Theatre. Show times are 8pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday and Sunday at 2pm and 7pm.
Facts versus truth: It's the final weekend for The Lifespan of a Fact, presented by The Dayton Guild with shows Friday 8pm, Sat 5pm and Sun 3pm.
Special treat for the kids! The Children's Performing Arts of Miamisburg will present The Lion King Jr. at Riverfront Park on Saturday and Sunday 2pm & 5.30pm. This outdoor performance is FREE - just bring chairs and blankets to sit on!
Fall Activities
Many fall activities and events are back again this year. Spooky season has also arrived, and it's opening weekend for some of the Dayton area's best Haunts.
