Summer Solstice Lavender Festival - canceled
UPDATE 4/13/2020 - We are incredibly sad to announce that due to the uncertainty of the COVID-19 and group gatherings, we have decided to CANCEL the 12th annual lavender festival.
Each year, the Prell Family open up their Peaceful Acres Lavender Farm to the public for a unique festival experience. The overall atmosphere found at the Summer Solstice Lavender Festival parallels perfectly with the farm's name, Peaceful Acres. Experience the overwhelming beauty of acres of certified organic lavender in full bloom. Lavender food, vendors, u-pick, wreath and wand workshops, yoga in the field, massage therapy, children's activities, music and much more.
To the casual observer the lavender plant's bloom might be described as a pretty, fragrant flower, but the truth is very few people have the opportunity to learn about this herb's many uses, from medicine to aromatherapy or as a fragrance ingredient to a flavor for food. That's where the Summer Solstice Lavender Festival takes over, not only allowing attendees to walk blooming lavender fields, but also to learn.
Peaceful Acres Lavender Farm is located at 2387 Martinsville Rd., Martinsville, OH, 45146, one hour north of Cincinnati and Columbus and 35 minutes from Dayton. To contact the farm, (513) 322-2415.
