Honk! - The Musical

Don't miss this warm and endearing musical retelling of the ugly duckling. With a charming cast made up of children and adults this is a great story for all ages. This story will speak to the heart in all of us. You'll laugh, you'll cry and most of all you will be entertained. Grab your friends, family, lawn chairs and bug spray and join us for an evening of outdoor theatre at the Northpark Ampitheatre in Sprinboro, OH. Aug 8-10 and Aug 15-17 at 7:30 P.M. This is a free show, although generous donations are gratefully accepted!

Honk! is a musical adaptation of the Hans Christian Andersen story The Ugly Ducking. The book and lyrics are by Anthony Drewe and music is by George Stiles (of the British songwriting duo Stiles and Drewe). The musical is set in the countryside and features Ugly - acygnet (who is mistaken as an ugly duckling upon falling into his mother's nest) who is rejected by everyone but Ida (his mother), a sly tomcat who only befriends him out of hunger, and several other barnyard characters.

Honk! - The Musical is taking place at North Park, which is located at 195 Tamarack Trail in Springboro. North Park - North Park has 2 lighted tennis courts, 3 soccer fields,1 shelter, 1 playground area, a concession stand, .89 mile walking trail and offers a summer concert series and theatre under the stars at the North Park Amphitheater.
