Forget Pumpkins - Fall Means Theatre
Dayton Local is a proud sponsor of the 2014-2015 Victoria Theatre Association PNC Family Series.
I love this time of year. The trees look like they are on fire in my yard. Everything comes in pumpkin spice flavor. Well, and then there's the best holiday of the entire year – HALLOWEEN!!
What could be better? How about the kick off of the 2014-2015 Victoria Theatre Association Season!?
This season is jam packed with exciting adventures, classic stories and belly laughs for you and your family. I can't wait to share them with mine.
The PNC Family Series starts with a splash with “John Tartaglia's Imaginocean” on November 1. My kids can't wait to see this black-light puppet show filled with undersea adventure.
Next up, the VTA pairs up with the Zoot Theatre Company once again to bring a new interpretation of “The Velveteen Rabbit.” This is no ordinary puppet show!
Bring your babes for a blow-out blast with the brood from “BIG BANG BOOM”! They are coming to town with “Juice Box Jams” in January.
Next up, get your girly on with the adorable “Pinkalicious the Musical” in February. Follow that with a fun and adorable ride with Buddy and the gang on “Jim Henson's Dinosaur Train Live!” in March.
Finally, the season rounds out with what promises to be a hilarious adaptation of “The Adventures of Robin Hood” performed by the Visible Fictions theatre company from Scotland. Having just done book reports on Robin Hood for school, my boys can't wait to see all the Merry Men in action.
Wow! There truly is something for everyone this season. Along with all of the shows are the exciting hands-on workshops giving your kids a chance to really experience being a part of the theatre world.
Don't miss this incredible season and spread the excitement of theatre to your family. Season tickets are available now at TicketCenterStage.com.
