Alter Castle Players Present The Audition
A new theater teacher is bringing a production of A CHORUS LINE to the high school. Though the hopefuls range from shy to outrageous, and from diva-like to determined, everyone has a chance to step into the spotlight. A hilarious and heartbreaking look at the madness of auditioning and the actors who brave the process for that perfect part.
Comedy. Drama. Fears. Laughs. Tears. We all know what auditions are like! So this winter, we present a new play that tells OUR story – the story of the theatre – and the behind-the-scenes no one ever gets to see but us. The time has come to let the audience in on our secret world in a fresh new way! With both laughter and heart, Alter Castle Players is thrilled to challenge you with the play THE AUDITION by Don Zolidis. Prepare for our Castle Players twist – cause we are off on a new adventure into a backstage world we all know so well. So here we go – and a – 5 – 6 – 7 – 8!
