Mary Poppins flies on Carroll High School's Stage
Carroll brings Mary Poppins to the stage with memorable tunes like Spoonful of Sugar and Jolly Holiday. Mary with help from Bert, uses a combination of magic and common sense to teach the Banks how to value each other again.

Carroll High School performs the family-friendly musical Mary Poppins
Dayton, Ohio - Archbishop Carroll High School Freedom Players will perform the classic Mary Poppins, the Broadway Musical on March 14th and 15th at 7 pm, and March 16th at 2 pm. Based on the stories of P.L. Travers and the Walt Disney Film, it is an enchanting blend of irresistible story, unforgettable songs, breathtaking dance numbers and astonishing stagecraft. Music and Lyrics by Richard M. and Robert B. Sherman, book by Julian Fellowes, new songs by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, co-created by Cameron Mackintosh and performed by arrangement with MTI Music Theatre International, this musical tells the story of young Jane and Michael who have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, and a little help from chimney sweep Bert, she must teach the family members how to value each other again.
Mary Poppins features many of the movie’s memorable tunes, including Spoonful of Sugar, Practically Perfect, Jolly Holiday, Let’s Go Fly a Kite, Feed the Birds, and Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
