Summer Art Camps at The DAI - TEEN FULL-DAY & HALF-DAY CAMPS: 8th - 12th Grade
Introduce your children to the world of art through Summer Art Camps at The DAI. Camps are tailored to a variety of age groups and feature many different art activities. Children will learn and get inspired by the museum’s collection and create their own masterpieces using 2D and 3D art-making techniques in our studios and nationally acclaimed Lange Family Experiencenter!
TEEN FULL-DAY & HALF-DAY CAMPS: 8th - 12th Grade
Campers entering grades 8 - 12 in the Fall
Half Day: Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. or 12:30 - 3:00 p.m.
Full Day: Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Additional $20 material fee applies
Community in Art
June 18-22
Celebrate diversity in this unique camp that focuses on inclusion. Collaborate with campers while making a group mural, create art inspired by artists with disabilities, design a poster about a social justice issue and explore the meaning of community through art making.
Painting and Illustration
July 30-August 3
Discover the process of painting and illustration while having fun producing quality work. This camp covers the reproduction of subject matter ranging from still life, nature, perspective, human forms, and the imagination.
