Fashion Camp
This will be a fun way to learn how to make a pattern or read a pattern, measure and make a skirt and embellished skirt or pants/shorts ending with a fashion show on Friday July 31st.
Limited class space, we can have only 6 students, signing up locks in your fashionista’s spot.This is a 4 day class, please only sign up if you can commit to all 4 days. Fashion show is not required for participation but will be a lot of fun.
Day 1: (July 28 – July 31 – 1pm-4pm) Learning patterns, reading and cutting, symbols, markings and starting to draft your pattern from their measurements.
Day 2: Cutting, picking out embellishments, pockets, zippers, snap applications, rules of fabric and the sewing basics.
Day 3: More hands on basics, needle talk, safety talk, sewing, pressing, piecing our skirts/pants/shorts together.
Day 4: In the afternoon we will be fine tuning and completing all projects. We will also be practicing walking and fashion show rehearsal. They will get to learn behind the scenes fashion show etiquette.
Evening of Friday (Day 4) – 5pm fashion show, please be here at here at 4:55pm at the latest to see the fashion show.
