WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio – Residents of local communities will be allowed to become members of the Patterson and Prairies Pools this year. Located in the Prairies housing area, the Prairies Pool does not require a base pass or sponsor for community members to enter and use the pool. However, the Patterson pool is located on base, in area A, and requires a sponsor or a base pass to enter the installation. “We are very excited to have this opportunity to offer this activity to our community,” said Col. Cassie Barlow, 88th Air Base Wing commander. Pre-sale pool passes will be available to the community starting May 19 and will be available Mondays - Fridays from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Prairies Pool located on Chapel Lane in Prairie Housing. Both pools open for the season May 24 and close September 1.

- Patterson Pool is located behind the Wright-Patt Club and Dodge Gym (requires Base Sponsor).
- Prairies Pool is located on Chapel Lane, near Prairie Housing.
