Help needed with graffiti clean-up

Officers of the East Patrol Operations Division (EPOD) are looking for volunteers to help clean up graffiti at the site of a closed business (Hookah Star) on Friday, April 15, at 9 a.m.

The building at 1243 Wayne Ave., vacant since August of 2015, and some surrounding buildings have become targets for taggers.

If you are interested in volunteering, please call 937-333-7440 so EPOD can know how many helping hands to expect.

Local businesses have stepped up to provide refreshments. Ghostlight Coffee will provide coffee, and Pizza Factory will provide lunch once clean-up is complete.
