From outdoor recreation newbies to seasoned adventurers, all are invited to experience the great outdoors during the Wagner Subaru Outdoor Experience (OutdoorX) this weekend at Eastwood MetroPark.
Last year, Five Rivers MetroParks welcomed more than 15,000 people to OutdoorX, featuring 20 outdoor activities, live entertainment, competitions and more. This year, visitors can count on even more high-flying demos, hands-on activities and opportunities to shop for gear.

When: Saturday, Oct. 6, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 7, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Eastwood MetroPark, park-side entrance: 1385 Harshman Rd., Dayton
While at the event visitors can experience:
- Pro demos, including BMX Inspired Stunt Shows, freestyle whitewater kayakers, the Chris Clark Bike Stunt Show and slackliners
- Competitions, including the Ruff Run 5K, Buckeye Kayak Fishing Tournament and DockDogs® Worldwide National Championship
- Try It activities, including slacklining, cycling, climbing, paddling and more
