Dayton named in 25 Best Towns of 2017
Dayton, Ohio has been named by Outside magazine as one of the top 25 "Best Towns" of 2017.

Outside Magazine put together the list of "best towns" based on places that are, "...great for kids, have drool-worthy food and drink scenes, and are welcoming to people of any background".
Citing the aftermath of the closure of General Motors back in 2008, the list hailed Dayton as the "Best Rebirth of the American Dream", and noted how "...city leaders came up with a plan: recast its image based on its rivers and trails. It worked."
The list also highlighted Dayton's "cultural vibrancy", the Oregon District, Second Street Market, it's hundreds of miles of hiking trails, 60 miles of mountain biking track, and 400 miles of waterways.
