On most nights in the City of Dayton, bands take to the stage in the various local establishments. There are a lot of great cover bands that can be discovered in Dayton. Last Call is one of the bands that you should see.

Some of the bands that perform are considered to be cover bands. Cover bands play songs written and recorded by other artists, usually well-known songs. A lot of bands will cover only top 40 bands. A lot of bands will only play songs that were one-hit wonders. Some will cover a solo act. There are a lot of great cover bands that can be discovered in Dayton. Last Call is one of the bands that you should see.
Last Call is a 4-piece band that hails from the Gem City, and they cover all the basics-a lot of 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and today.
Chris Reynold's is the band's lead vocalist. Backing vocals and also lead guitar is Evan Wheeler. David Lenda plays bass, and Brian Harris plays drums.
Since their inception in 2005, the band has opened for many popular acts, including Bret Michaels from the band Poison, and Tone Loc. Dayton Local caught Last Call @ W.O. Wrights on June 8, 2012. The video we shot below shows Last Call playing Pink Floyds "Time".
Last Call performs a large range of songs during their lively shows. From the ground breaking band Pink Floyd to Sublime's 'What I Got'. From 'Last Dance with Mary Jane' from the popular classic rock band Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers to fans of Foo Fighters beloved 'Everlong'. Hair bands from the 80s to the hit song 'All The Small Things' from the punk band Blink-182.
Last Call plays each song with a feel as if you are in a large arena. Their take on The Beatles is simply impressive. And the bands versions of Raw Jam's 'Black Betty' and The Who 'Pinball Wizard' are songs that you have to see to believe.
Crowds during the shows are enthusiastic and energized. Each band member gives the distinct impression that the show isn't just another gig. They relish performing. They revel in the moment.
Last Call is truly one of the top cover bands in the Dayton area today. Catch them this weekend at the Ascension Church Summer Festival 7PM-10:30PM.
