Dayton Performing Arts Alliance opens season with a salute to the heroes of the pandemic
The Dayton Performing Arts Alliance 2021–2022 season begins tomorrow, Friday, October 1, and with a variety of symphonic soundscapes, a comedic opera, and bewitching ballet, there are performances that will inspire for years to come.
The first concert, Beethoven's Eroica: A Salute to Heroes, features the Dayton Philharmonic performing Beethoven's "Heroic" Symphony No. 3 in a salute to our healthcare heroes, and essential workers who have risen to meet the challenges of the pandemic.
Philippe Quint returns to the stage with the DPO to perform Mendelssohn's ever-popular Violin Concerto in E minor. The concerts at The Schuster Center are scheduled for tomorrow evening, with a second performance on Saturday. For more information, click here.
