Introducing...Dr. Alan Pascuzzi and Fresco Painting

Dr. Alan Pascuzzi and Fresco Painting
The Dayton Society of Artists (DSA) is excited to offer a fresco workshop featuring Dr. Alan Pascuzzi from his workshop in Florence, Italy. In addition to being a painter, sculptor and art history professor, Dr. Alan moved from New York to Italy where he teaches the fresco techniques of the Renaissance masters to whomever is willing to learn. Scroll down to watch an 11 min. clip from Ldm NEWS (2013).

Join us on Zoom for this amazing opportunity to create an authentic buon fresco with instruction and demonstration from Dr. Alan. The DSA is excited to have worked with Dr. Alan to provide 20 kits with authentic Italian supplies, mailed to us straight from Italy. Participants will be recreating an Italian fresco by Giotto. While kits are limited, those interested in learning and watching how a fresco is made can still participate as a viewer. A list of materials is made available below for those interested in gathering their own supplies for this experience.

This workshop will be a two-part event:

Friday, March 25th - 12-1 PM: Join us for a brief history lesson on fresco from Dr. Alan. Registration costs $5.
