From England to Enon! The Last Queen Pub to Take Dayton, Ohio on a British Bus Ride
Move over RTA, The Last Queen Pub in Enon recently announced their exciting acquisition of a double decker bus! The authentically British bussin' import, complete with the steering wheel on the "right" side, was most recently on "Hop On, Hop Off" tour bus duties in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
Prior to touring through the Smokies, this particular vehicle had a long and illustrious career serving public transportation routes near Cambridge, England, as well as in the picturesque county of Dorset along the Southern coast of England, and also on the Isle of Wight, a beautiful island located off the coast of Hampshire in the English Channel.
"We’re excited to restore and renovate for future fun and festivities," the pub wrote in a social media post earlier today. "This thing sticks out like a giant red double decker bus in the middle of small town America!"
The arrival of this iconic vehicle is sure to be a smashing success. Whether it's transformed into a unique dining area, a quirky event space, or simply a red-hot landmark, one thing's for sure: The Last Queen Pub is definitely putting the "pub" in publicity with this brilliant move. We're excited to see what plans the team at The Last Queen have for this double decker development!
