For over two decades, Uno Pizzeria & Grill, located at 126 N Main St, served as a beloved pre-theater ritual for patrons of the Schuster Center and other entertainment venues in Dayton's vibrant Arts District. The restaurant announced its closure on February 29th, 2024, in a Facebook post thanking the community for their support.
"Uno Pizzeria has been a staple in the Arts District since 1999," the post reads. "We are proud to have served so many friends and family. We thank Dayton and the Arts community for all your support over the years."
Uno's iconic deep-dish pizzas and diverse menu were a popular choice for theatergoers seeking a delicious bite before catching a show. Its convenient location across the street from the Schuster Performing Arts Center made it a natural pre-curtain ritual for many.
