New downtown Dayton restaurant Table 33 opening soon
The owners of Table 33 welcomed friends, family, and the participants of First Friday’s Courteous Mass Dayton to their place for a sneak peak of their newly renovated space. Co-owners Chris Harrison and Charlie Carroll were on hand for the event. Still a couple weeks from opening, they plan to open in phases as they staff up and put on the finishing touches.
Table 33’s strategy is to fill the need for a coffee shop in this area of downtown in addition to offering brunch fare. With more than 3000 employees overhead and in adjacent buildings, they are sure to be well received. The first phase will include coffee service and gluten-free pastries. As kitchen updates are completed, they intend to add hot menu items and extend service through lunch.
Table 33 will feature grass-fed meat products sourced through Keener Farms, and has long-term plans to develop a few branded items with Keener that will eventually be commercially available at Keener’s Butcher Block.
Harrison says the current plan is to use one brunch menu from 6:30a to 2p, though they have a full liquor license, and in due course will open for happy hour until 7p, in addition to offering service during select performances at Schuster Center.
