Aaron Lee opened Buckeye Distillery in Tipp City nearly 3 years ago. They are a small family business producing tasty fruit flavored liqueurs. Buckeye currently produces three artisan crafted 100% natural juice flavors: cherry, raspberry, and blackberry. I had the opportunity to taste all three and appreciated that they weren’t sticky sweet. They’re all wonderful. I’m envisioning chocolate martini’s with a dash of raspberry…
Now for the really good news! A change in the liquor laws earlier this year allows Buckeye to offer "tastings” at their Tipp City location so you can taste them too! They are open Mon – Fri 9a – 5p and will also be able to sell your choice(s) on the spot. If you can’t make it to Tipp City, check out their website for the location of a retailer near you where you can purchase Buckeye spirits.
