Grand Opening: Cowtherine's Carousel at Young's Jersey Dairy

Get ready to experience the magic of Cowtherine's Carousel at Young's Jersey Dairy!

Calling all carousel enthusiasts and ice cream lovers!  Young's Jersey Dairy is adding a whimsical new attraction to its already impressive list of family-friendly activities! 

The grand opening of "Cowtherine's Carousel" is set for Thursday, July 11th, 2024. There will be a special VIP reception and press conference at 6:00 pm, followed by an exciting line-up for the public opening at 7:30 pm.

What to Expect at the Grand Opening:

• Special Guest Appearances (tbd)
• Check Presentation to Rocking Horse Community Health Center, the beneficiary of the carousel's sponsorship program
• First Rides for those who supported the brick campaign or sponsored an animal
• Live Music by B.A.D. the Kid starting at 5:30 pm 
• Public Opening at 7:30 pm! Get ready to hop on for a magical ride – carousel rides will be $3 each

A Unique Carousel Experience

This 36-foot beauty isn't your average carousel.  Hand-painted and brimming with charm, Cowtherine's Carousel features a unique menagerie, including 21 majestic horses, each adorned with colors that reflect Young's famous homemade ice cream flavors; 6 adorable Jersey cows (a nod to the farm, of course!); plus, a pig, a goat, and a rooster!

The carousel is also designed to be inclusive, featuring two chariots and a wheelchair-accessible seating option to ensure everyone can enjoy the experience.

The construction of  the carousel has generated considerable excitement on social media. One recent comment perfectly captured the community's enthusiasm when Debbie Hall posted, "Omg!!! I'm super excited!! Opening on my birthday!!! I love it ❤️❤️❤️ I can't wait!!!"

Cowtherine's Carousel will be open daily from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm starting July 12th, 2024, and will operate year-round.  Carousel rides will also be included in Young's Club Cowvin memberships, Family Value Wristband events, and will be available for corporate outings and special events.
