Carillon Park Rail Festival pulls into the station on Saturday, June 24, from 9:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 25, from 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
 
The family-friendly, two-day event features $5 rides on the NEW full-sized Carillon Park Railroad, miniature train rides, model train displays from tiny N-track cars to elaborate G-gauge garden models, historical displays, rail vendors, unique railroad merchandise, indoor carousel rides, Carillon Park Concert Band performances, and much more.
 
Carillon Historical Park is home to the nation's oldest-existing American-built locomotive; B&O #1, John Quincy Adams; an opulent 1903 Barney & Smith wooden parlor car, an interurban, a 1923 caboose, and much more. The Park's picturesque 65-acre campus provides the perfect backdrop for Rail Festival.
 
Admission to Carillon Park Rail Festival :
  • $14 for adults
  • $12 for seniors
  • $10 for children aged 3–17
  • FREE for Dayton History members and children 2 and under!
  • FREE parking available at Carillon Historical Park
  • Carillon Park Railroad: Single Ride - $5, Unlimited Day Pass - $12
  • Miniature Train Rides: No additional cost
  • Carousel of Dayton Innovation: $1
  • Carillon Park Concert Band Performance: 2:00pm each day
