JUST IN: Scene75 to reopen December 16

18 months and 19 days after devastating tornadoes forced its closure, Scene75 Entertainment Center in Dayton will reopen its doors bigger, better and stronger.

JUST IN: Scene75 to reopen December 16

On May 27th 2019, 15 tornadoes tore through Dayton, causing significant damage to Scene75 Entertainment Center, located on Poe Avenue in Vandalia. Large portions of the roof blew away, and the building was left completely flooded. Walls that once stood 36 feet tall were totally destroyed, while several air conditioning units on the roof were never found.

CEO Jonah Sandler immediately vowed to rebuild "bigger, better and stronger", and today it was revealed that the wait is finally over.  Scene75 will reopen its doors to the public on Wednesday, December 16 at 3pm.

Scene75 will reopen "bigger and better"—new additions include a brand new roller coaster and double-decker carousel, part of an expansion into 40,000-square-feet of previously unused space.  This takes Scene75’s total square footage to around 164,000, making it one of the largest indoor entertainment centers in the country.

In addition to the carousel and roller coaster, the blacklight mini-golf course has been expanded with a tropical theme including waterfalls.  Scene75 has also added a banquet center called "The Grand Scene".

If you're not familiar with Scene75, you're in for a treat—existing attractions include indoor go-karts, laser tag, inflatables, over 130 arcade games, and much more.

Scene75 will reopen under Covid restrictions, including reduced occupancy, designated entrances and exits, increased sanitation of surfaces, and mandatory masks for employees and guests.  For more information, please visit their website at scene75.com/stay-safe-together
