Dave Chappelle drops out of Dayton comedy show
Comedian Eddie Griffin will replace Dave Chappelle for Paul Mooney Presentation at the All-Star LOL Comedy Tour at the Schuster. A statement from the GAB Productions read as follows:
"Due to unforeseen circumstances, Dave Chappelle is unable to attend the All-Star LOL Comedy Tour on Friday, Feb. 24 at the Schuster Center. However, GAB Productions is excited to announce stage and screen comedic superstar Eddie Griffin will be on hand to present a proclamation from the City of Dayton in honor of comedic legend Paul Mooney’s lifetime achievement in comedy. Griffin and the LOL Comedy Tour All-Stars will take a few moments to roast Mr. Mooney with stories and memories that promise not to disappoint!"
