Twenty-five members of the National Guard joined staff at The Foodbank today to assist with packing and distributing food.

Twenty-five National Guard members were deployed at The Foodbank today to assist with packing and distributing food, following Governor Mike DeWine’s order to activate the National Guard to assist with humanitarian efforts.
"We are incredibly grateful for the men and women who are serving domestically to help us through this crisis." The Foodbank said in a Facebook post earlier today.
The Foodbank will be doing drive-thru distributions Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for the rest of March. They are asking the public not to arrive before 1 pm.
"Those utilizing our drive-thru may do so once per month and must bring some form of identification," The Foodbank said.
Since the outbreak of the coronavirus, The Foodbank has gone from serving an average of 350 families per day to over 400 per day.
With the help of the National Guard, and in an effort to minimize exposure, The Foodbank is no longer taking volunteers at this time.
