Half of All Buddy Card Sales to Be Contributed to The Dayton Foodbank

LaRosa’s Family Pizzeria, with a strong heritage of community support is once again focusing its holiday efforts on helping The Foodbank in the Miami Valley. Launching on November 21, LaRosa’s will donate $5 from the sale of every $10 Buddy Card to The Foodbank.

“The Foodbank provides emergency food for 70,000 people a year. 40% of those people are children. We believe no one should go hungry, especially children,” said Michael LaRosa, CEO, LaRosa’s Inc. LaRosa’s has contributed over $ 10,000 to The Foodbank as a result of this program over the last three years.

The $10 Buddy Card entitles the bearer to a free large cheese pizza with the purchase of any large pizza, and is good for 14 uses, or 14 free large cheese pizzas within one year. At $10 the Buddy Card is a perfect holiday gift idea or stocking stuffer, and helps support our neighbors in need. To benefit The Foodbank in the Miami Valley, Buddy Cards can be purchased at any LaRosa’s restaurant location in the Miami Valley. For a full list of locations, go to http://www.larosas.com/find/.

The program, which continues through December 31, 2016, will be supported in-store, with a PSA campaign and social media support.
