The Dayton area is booming with activities for you and your family and friends this holiday weekend. In the Dayton region, we are blessed with an exciting array of fun festivals and celebrations to attend. But, as you think about which of these awesome celebrations you'd like to join in with, please take a minute to think about the men and women we are forever indebted to - those who were there when the "rockets red flare" first hit the sky and those who continue to serve today - who are the reason we are free to celebrate our nation's birth.

Past Events: June 29, 2012: WPAFB Fireworks Freedom’s Call Military Tattoo Event Date: 6/29/2012 **Updated 6/29/2012 5.05PM - DUE TO THE WEATHER, THE TATTOO HAS BEEN CANCELLED** June 29, 2012 - National Museum of the United States Air Force - The eighth annual Freedom's Call 2012 on Friday, June 29, will recognize the contributions of our military veterans, their families and all Americans who support them with a spectacular presentation of flyovers, music, narration and fireworks. June 30, 2012: Huber Heights Fireworks Huber Heights Fireworks 2012 Event Date: 6/30/2012 June 30, 2012 - Grab a chair, enjoy the music and join us for one of Montgomery County's Finest Fireworks Shows! Stop by earlier and see The Wayne Township / Huber Heights Historical Society Car Show. Dayton Fireworks City of Dayton Fireworks 2012 Event Date: 7/1/2012 July 1, 2012 - Music, food, art, family fun and Independence Day Celebrations in Downtown Dayton @ Riverscape MetroPark. Watch the 2012 City of Dayton Fireworks at 10 PM. July 3, 2012: Lebanon Fireworks City of Lebanon Independence Day Celebration Event Date: 7/3/2012 July 3, 2012 - Live entertainment, free activities, petting zoo, food vendors. Event opens at 6 PM. Entertainment from 7 10 PM. Fireworks launch at 10 PM. Vandalia Fireworks City of Vandalia Star-Spangled Celebration Event Date: 7/3/2012 July 3, 2012 - Join us at the Vandalia Sports Complex for family activities and food vendors with entertainment. Fireworks begin at 10:00 p.m. July 4, 2012: Beavercreek Fireworks City of Beavercreek 4th of July Parade & Celebration Event Date: 7/4/2012 July 4, 2012 - Parade will begin at 6 p.m. at Meadowbridge Drive. Then join us at Rotary Park for food, entertainment, children's inflatables. Fireworks will begin at 10 p.m! Centerville Fireworks Centerville Americana Festival and Fireworks Event Date:7/4/2012 July 4, 2012 - Centerville-Washington Township Americana Festival. Fourth of July Parade, Street Fair, Fireworks - join us for some awesome family fun! Englewood Fireworks City of Englewood Fireworks Celebration Event Date:7/4/2012 July 4, 2012 - The annual Englewood Fireworks Celebration in Centennial Park. Filling the air with patriotic tunes, the Englewood Civic Band will perform beginning at 7 p.m. Fairborn Fireworks City of Fairborn July 4 Parade, Concert & Fireworks 2012 Event Date: 7/4/2012 July 4, 2012 - Fairborn - Independence Day celebrations with a variety of entertainment, food, and fun for the entire family. Kettering Fireworks City of Kettering Fireworks - Go 4th 2012 Event Date:7/4/2012 Events 6 to 10 p.m including Live Entertainment, Kids Zone and Fireworks at Delco Park in Kettering - July 4, 2012. Moraine Fireworks Moraine Fourth of July Fireworks Event Date:7/4/2012 July 4, 2012 - 1pm-11pm - City of Moraine Annual event includes amusement rides, free concert, food and more - fireworks at 10PM! Piqua Fireworks City of Piqua Fourth of July Celebration Event Date:7/4/2012 July 4, 2012 - This annual Fourth of July celebration, with rides, food, games and musical performances throughout the day, is highlighted by a fireworks display in the evening. Tipp City Fireworks 4th of July Fireworks in Tipp City Event Date:7/4/2012 July 4, 2012 - 4th of July Fireworks - City Park 10PM Troy Fireworks City of Troy 4th of July Parade & Fireworks Event Date: 7/4/2012 July 4, 2012 - 4th of July parade, sponsored by Veterans organizations, routed through the Square. Fireworks will begin at approximately 10 p.m. Yellow Springs Fireworks Yellow Springs 4th of July Parade and Fireworks Event Date: 7/4/2012 July 4, 2012 - Downtown Yellow Springs has a Fourth of July Community Parade. Fireworks at Gaunt Park start at dusk. Arrive early to enjoy the Community Band.
