Grand Opening Celebration @ Second Shelf Thrift Store

Saturday June 1st 10am-to 4pm. Second Shelf Thrift Store will be having a GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION!  We are located at 2020 E. 3rd St. Dayton OH 45403.

 

Second Shelf Dayton is a non-profit organization that has been around since 1969 and continues to show support to the developmentally disabled as well as showing other local non-profits and the community support in many ways daily. Since July of 2012 when Second Shelf was passed down from the county to a new board of volunteers  Second Shelf has created The Alafar Neace Foundation. This foundation was inspired by an amazing woman who touched many lives and hearts that was developemetally disabled as well.  The Alafar Neace Foundation focuses on sending individuals with disabilities on vacations or reuniting them with family out of state. 

We are inviting local non-profit organizations and selected supportive local businesses to join us by setting up a table and sharing with the community. At this event we plan to have LIVE Entertainment, Drawings, Door prizes, 50/50, Food and Family Fun for Everyone. We have already confirmed support from the Dayton Funny Bone, DaytonLocal.com, Daytonrocks.com, St. Vincent’s Homeless Shelter, Local Media, Musicians & Artists.

We at Second Shelf are always looking for ways to help our community by building lasting relationships with all the wonderful people within the great city of Dayton.
