Following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday is defined as a “global generosity movement” and simply encourages people to do good. A charitable gift in the name of a loved one is a thoughtful gift that recognizes what’s important to the receiver. Memberships and gift cards also make wonderful holiday presents.

Crazy for kids? Shoes 4 The Shoeless locate children in need of clean and dependable shoes and gets them a pair that fits perfectly! Their Facebook page has several posts that explain the impact of the donations they receive.
For Love Of Children, better known as FLOC is a 100% volunteer agency with a mission to serve greater Dayton area children who are neglected, abused, in foster care, or in need of community resources. FLOC has sixteen very proactive programs in place to better the lives of the children they serve.
United Rehabilitation Services (URS) mission is “enhancing the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities or other special needs.” Serving Miami Valley families since 1956, URS’ combined administrative and fundraising costs have been under 10% the past eight years, ensuring that 90% of your donation goes directly to supporting programs.
Addiction affects families and can make the holidays especially tough. FOA, Families of Addicts, needs your support to give hope and help families and individuals struggling with addiction. FOA accepts monetary donations and welcomes volunteers.
Help the homeless with a gift to St. Vincent de Paul Society, they give shelter to more than 500 men, women, and children every night and are in need of chairs.
If your passion is for feeding people, every dollar donated to The Foodbank provides food for four meals to network of food pantries, community kitchens, shelters, and Kid Cafés.

If furry friends are your preference, SICSA Pet Adoption Center is hosting their annual “Mediocre Pet Portrait Fundraiser” through 11:59pm Giving Tuesday. Just make a gift of $10 or more. To receive a portrait, you must attach a photo of your pet to your donation within the fundraiser.
Are you a history buff? Dayton History manages Carillon Historical Park, the Archive Center, Hawthorn Hill, Patterson Homestead, the Old Court House, Memorial Hall, and Mound Cold War Discovery Center. A membership gains your family admission to the park at no charge and supports the maintenance of Dayton's history.
Love the Arts? Support the Dayton Philharmonic, Ballet, and Opera or Give the gift of free music with Levitt Pavilion Dayton.
