The Dayton Art Institute is temporarily closing to the public in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The coronavirus (COVID-19) situation continues to evolve, both nationally and in Ohio. In accordance with the most recent recommendations from government and health officials, and in the best interests of museum staff and the community, the Dayton Art Institute is temporarily closing to the public, effective 5 p.m. on Friday, March 13. The museum will remain closed through at least Sunday, April 5. All museum events and programs scheduled during that time have been cancelled or postponed. For questions regarding private events booked at the museum, please check with the event organizer. Updates and additional information will be posted through the museum’s social media and on the DAI website, at daytonartinstitute.org/dai-corona-virus
