Dayton among 2016 Best Places to Live in the USA

According to U.S. News, a place had to have good value, be a desirable place to live, have a strong job market and a high quality of life to make the list. Dayton ranked #69 with an overall score of 6.3 out of 10.
Amongst the reasons given for placing Dayton on the list of best places to live, they stated:
- Dayton offers both a revamped downtown area full of unique activities
- Suburbs that provide close-knit communities
- Several historic neighborhoods and districts
- 19 different metro parks and 330 miles of paved biking trails
- 12 different craft and microbreweries
- Bike share program
Ohio's sixth-largest city is rich in aviation history
They also acknowledged Dayton as the "hometown of first flyers Orville and Wilbur Wright" and the location of the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. They added "Aviation enthusiasts will appreciate the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park, the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force and the Wright Brothers National Memorial".
