Remodeling Designs Wins Four CotY Awards
Remodeling Designs, Inc. has been named the winner of one regional and three local CotY (Contractor of the Year)TM Awards for 2017 by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI).
Remodeling Designs received the regional CotY Award for their conversion of a Washington Township home’s unfinished lower level into a complete wine room. The win in Region 4, which includes Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Michigan, enters the project into NARI’s national competition.
The wine room remodel also won a local CotY award from the Miami Valley Chapter of NARI in the residential basement, $50,000-$100,000 category. Remodeling Designs received two other local CotY awards for a Waynesville kitchen project, $100,001-$150,000 residential kitchen category; and a Centerville remodeled bathroom in the $25,001-$50,000 bathroom category.
“Our client wanted the ‘wow’ factor in their wine room,” said Christine Balsan, Sales Consultant with Remodeling Designs. “The detail we included is incredible, from a tin ceiling and stone wall to a bar, cooler and in-cabinet lighting.”
Bill and Kelly Stone’s trip to Napa Valley inspired their wine room. “After our trip, we decided to build a room around our wine,” said Kelly Stone. “We knew we wanted out of the ordinary finishes and detail with a rustic but classy look. The Remodeling Designs team delivered, exceeding our expectations beyond our wildest dreams.”
This is the 21st year in a row Remodeling Designs has won a CotY Award, given annually to NARI members who demonstrate high quality of design and superior craftsmanship in their remodeling projects.
