Founded in 1937, the Dayton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra brings together the area’s most gifted young orchestral musicians to study and perform a broad range of orchestral repertoire. The ensemble performs three times a year, beginning with this one.
Program includes Ellington (Three Black Kings, I. The Magi & III. Martin Luther King), Austin (Thee Surrender) and Dvořák (Symphony No. 9 in E minor, Op. 95, “From the New World”).
