NEW! ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITY!
This year, Members have the opportunity to designate their 2024 Open Members Show submission to also serve as their 2024 Annual Art Auction donation.
Auction-designated artwork will be specially labeled during the Open Members Show. Artwork will be eligible for awards. Artwork will not be offered for sale. Artwork will remain with The Co after the Members Show closes, and will be featured as the artist’s 100% donation to the Auction. If you are interested in your submission also being your Auction donation, check the box on the Entry Form.
THEME: Pearls
As the 2024 Members' Show will be The Co’s 30th, the pearl is the traditional 30th anniversary gem. The interpretation of the pearl can be manifested by artists in whatever form they choose. Use of the theme is optional. Besides the pearl as an object, there are references to the pearl / pearls in literature, poetry, famous quotations, works of art, music, etc., that may also serve as influences.
Applicants must have a current CO Membership. Membership starts at $50 for individuals. Membership information can be found at codayton.org/support/membership
One work per applicant; work in all media will be eligible. Two-dimensional work must be fully framed and wired, and ready to hang. No saw-tooth hangers or poster frames allowed. The Co reserves the right to decline any work that is considered not structurally sound or inadequately presented. The Co also reserves the right to photograph work for publicity purposes.
