Christmas Ornament Decorating Contest

Both children and adults alike can show off their creative skills by entering their hand-made ornaments in this year’s virtual version of our Annual Ornament Decorating Contest. You can then vote on your favorites through our social media pages. One winner from each age category will be awarded a prize. What a great way to enjoy some crafting and spreading holiday cheer at the same time!

Entries may be dropped off at the Park District Headquarters (2751 Washington Mill Rd) from December 1 to December 18.

Please place your entry into a plastic bag with the completed submission form (available on our website).

Ornament Rules

Ornaments must be no larger than 4” high, 4” wide and 4” deep. Ornament can be in any shape, as long as it stays within the above measurements. Hooks must be attached to each ornament so they can be hung.

Ornaments can be made of any material such as wire, wood, plastic, metal, etc. They can also be beaded, crocheted, or knitted. Using a clear or solid colored glass ball ornament as a base is also acceptable.

Ornament Decorating Contest Age Categories:

• Child 3-6
• Child 7 -9
• Child 10-13
• 14 -17
• 18 and Up

Voting will take place via Facebook from December 21 to January 4.

Entries will be available for pick up following voting.  GOOD LUCK!
