Earth Day at Aullwood: Celebrating Migratory Birds!

Activities scheduled from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

You’re invited to a family-friendly fun day at Aullwood Audubon Center & Farm! Celebrate spring and migratory birds such as warblers, tanagers and orioles – many of which nest at Aullwood. Learn how to take some easy bird-friendly actions to protect migratory birds and make our own homes, neighborhoods and cities more beautiful and healthier.

Both the Nature Center and Farm will be open from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with activities scheduled between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Admission is free with a $20/vehicle parking fee – CASH ONLY. Friends of Aullwood and National Audubon Society members receive free admission and free parking. Parking is limited and visitors are encouraged to park at the Farm.

Some of the scheduled activities include the following and all are free!

• Draft horse wagon rides by the Hagemeyer Homestead 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Farm)

• Raptor show from the Ohio School of Falconry 1:00 p.m. (Farm)

• Mural creation with Chris Rowlands (Center)

• Interactive family concert with Chris Rowlands 11:30 a.m. (Center)

• Family-friendly hikes and activities at various times (Center & Farm)

• Steve Areen’s Unity Wagon (Farm)

• Canine Companions (Center)

• Explore Aullwood at your own pace 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Center & Farm)

• Greenview Garden Club’s annual Plant Sale 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Farm)

• Granda Billy’s Bakery – baked goods and kettle corn (Farm)

• Kona Ice (Center)

 Aullwood does not have an ATM onsite, but we do accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Earth Day at Aullwood 2025 is sponsored by Riverdale Optimists. We appreciate their support!
