Southern France through the lens of Bill and Marty Welch

Join us for Bill and Marty's Reception as they share some memorable moments exploring the South of France.

Bill and Marty will be presenting images of the famous wild white "Horses of the Camargue" as they splash through the shallow marshes and oceans of their natural habitat, including white stallions rearing on the beach and charging through the surf. Camargue’s black bulls and beautiful pink flamingoes also reside in the area along with the “Gardians”, the "Cowboys of the Camargue".

They also spent time photographing the vast fields of lavender in the valleys of Provence as well as the Luberon massif, a mountainous region with rolling landscapes and several thousand-year-old ancient hilltop villages.

This region of France is much less visited than the other more popular areas of France. Come and explore this beautiful and ancient region with us! We wear the waders, thigh deep in the marshes, and swat the black flies so you can share in our adventures, with a glass of wine!
