Roger Glass Center For The Arts - Gallery Exhibition

The University of Dayton Galleries is excited to present works from Professor Jeffrey Cortland Jones who recently returned from a research sabbatical. The exhibition will take place from Jan. 13th - Feb. 14th with a reception taking place Jan. 23rd from 5-7PM. We hope you can make it out to enjoy this great body of work!

From the artist: My father died suddenly on February 20, 2024. It was also the day of my 50th birthday. This work is my response. It’s about a place, once familiar, yet not. That place of remembering and simultaneously forgetting. Of triumph and tragedy. Of breathing and drowning. Of morning and mourning. I’m looking to the landscape, our landscape, as a physical location and as an unattainable romantic idea.

Parking available in S1 during receptions and after 7PM. Limited guest parking passes are available at the visitor center in P, C, and B lots. Outside of reception hours, visitors may obtain a parking permit from the parking attendant located inside the main entrance of Fitz Hall..
