Troops in Town at the Miami Valley Veterans Museum
Please come join us the weekend of September 9-11, 2022 for our 2nd Annual Troops in Town event. There will be displays inside the building including the Higgins boat as well as all kinds of military vehicles outside. There will be vendors selling items, as well as food trucks. We also plan on demonstrations and Rough Rider Teddy Roosevelt will be on hand. On September 11th, there will be a ceremony to honor First Responders and all those who fell on 9-11. Admission is FREE. This would be a great opportunity for a family outing, teaching children and grandchildren about the sacrifices of the men and women in the armed forces and seeing displays of memorabilia, uniforms, and photos from local veterans.
