TEDxYouth@Dayton returns virtually in 2021!TEDxYouth@Dayton* returns for its SIXTH year in March, 2021!
TEDxYouth@Dayton exists for the sole purpose of handing the microphone to young people whose stories and wisdom deserve more attention.
For years, this event has been a single evening of TED-style talks and performances by Dayton area young people (ages 14-20) and has drawn an ever increasing audience.
This year we’re celebrating 10 amazing speakers with a carefully curated two week online event. Our speakers applied and auditioned back in the fall of 2020. Since being selected at the start of December, they’ve been preparing, revising, and perfecting their talks for release in March:
March 7-13
3 bite-size talks will be released to our social media
March 14-19
3 more thought-provoking talks released, also to our social media
March 20, 7pm
3 final talks will be released in a ~1 hour program on YouTube, featuring longer-form talks and speaker Q&A
