Chili Cook-off Festival and Hoopla Parade

Enter to win the grand prize of $1000 for the best chili. Registration forms available online- chilicookoffofurbana.com. The Monument Square District organization is sponsoring the 17th Annual Simon Kenton Chili Cook-off festival and Hoopla Parade in Urbana, Ohio on September 28, 2024 from 11 am - 5 pm.
Join the festivities which will include sampling contestant's chili, a cornhole tournament, jalapeno eating contest, dunk tank, and the "suck, chew, and blow" contest.
A variety of food and craft vendors will fill the streets, and music fill the air on this is a day of fun for the entire family! The event is free, but, there is a fee for entering the competition.
The festival is located in downtown Urbana. Parking is available on side streets as well as church parking lots and public parking a block away.
