Jig and Jog 5K Run/Walk

Join the Celtic Academy of Irish Dance for their fourth annual Jig and Jog 5k Run/Walk.  

Participants are encouraged to don their best Irish dance garb while they jog to a jig at the finish line. Costume contest will begin at 9:15 am at the start line. Race starts at 9:30 a.m. On-site registration begins at 8:30 a.m. 5K run/walk begins at Eastwood MetroPark (1385 Harshman Road, Dayton, Ohio). Pre-race packet pickup is at Celtic Academy of Irish Dance (85 Woodman Drive, Dayton, Ohio), on Friday, May 2, 4-7 p.m. Race day packet pickup will begin at 8:30 a.m. For additional information, contact the Friends of the Celtic Academy at 937.387.7092 or via e-mail to friendsoftheca@gmail.com.

Jig and Jog 5K Run/Walk is taking place at Eastwood MetroPark, which is located at 1385 Harshman Road in Dayton. Eastwood MetroPark - Five Rivers MetroParks - Highlights of Eastwood MetroPark include a 185-acre lake, Mad River, picnic shelters and a playground. The 3-mile loop trail offers hiking on mostly level terrain.
