Halloween Paranormal Investigation
This will be the 9th year we have done our Halloween Paranormal Event. Celebrating the Halloween weekend investigating for spirits at the Pioneer Village is a perfect way to do it. Remember though that our events are limited in space and tickets must be purchased in advance. Bring the kids for trick or treat during the day and then send them home with grandma and grandpa and investigate the Village with us (a few of our lead people will also be handing out treats during the trick or treat event so they will be there all day).
These events have proven to be very popular so if you are interested definitely don't drag your feet on getting tickets. These events are only be pre-paid tickets through Eventbrite and there are no at the door or day of sales. Sorry but since we have limited space, we limit how many people can attend our events.
The Village has always proven to be a great place to talk with the spirits and we seem to have plenty of them still hanging around our buildings.
This event is not weather dependent so no matter what the weather, we will still investigate. We will have fires going around the Village if it happens to be a chilly night.
At the beginning of the evening, everyone will have the opportunity to talk with our investigators, get to know each other, and we will play some of the evidence which we have gathered over the past years of us investigating at the Village. We will also play some of the evidence which has been recorded by our Investigators from other investigations outside of the Village so everyone will have an idea of what could be found.
There will also be members of the Village available to tell you the history of the Village itself and all of the buildings in the Village and to answer any questions you may have about the Pioneer Village.
The investigation will include:
* Use of our equipment. K2s, Mel Meters, Flashlights, Rem Pods, SB7 Spirit Box, Laser Grids, Recording Devices
This event will be open to anyone ages 13 and up. Each person attending the event under the age of 18 must have an accompanying adult guardian with them (1:1 ratio). We expect everyone to behave in a professional and respectful manner no matter their age of course. We will also be walking around the village at night by nothing more than flashlight so keep in mind the hazards that can be encountered and be sure to dress appropriately and we also suggest you bring some sort of light with you.
We will begin the night in the Gazebo. So please park in the Parking lot next to the Village and make your way to the other side of the Village to the Gazebo when you arrive. Our staff will be on hand to greet you when you show up. They have been a part of many investigations at the Village and will be able to answer any questions you may have.
You are not required to stay the whole evening and may leave at any point (2 am can be a bit rough for some people). A friendly reminder though, if you leave the Village Property, you will not be allowed back on the property during the event.
On the night of the event all participants will need to sign a liability waiver form. No one will be allowed to investigate without filling out and signing the form. We also request that any evidence that you find yourself that you do not share it over social media. We want to continue doing these events and that can only happen if everyone respects the Village and its rules.
Any questions please send an email to admin@ccpv.us or contact us over Facebook.
