Date My Friend is Back Dec 3rd!
Instead of signing yourself up, attendees nominate a friend to be pitched by someone who knows them best! Presenters (the pitchers) showcase their nominated friends (the nominees) in creative, 3–5 minute pitches that highlight why they’re such a catch. The goal? To create sparks of friendship, romance, or both!
Event Details:
• What: Date My Friend matchmaking event
• When: Sunday, December 3rd, 7–9 PM (arrive by 6:45 PM)
• Where: Two Social, 123 Social Ave, Dayton, OH
• Who: Open to singles 21+ and their supportive friends
• Cost: $5 per ticket (nominees and presenters participate for free!
How It Works:
1. Nominated Friends: Attendees nominate their single friends (the nominees) to be pitched. Presenters prepare a fun, uplifting, and positive pitch that highlights their friend’s best qualities—no roasts allowed!
2. The Pitches: Each pitch lasts 3–5 minutes and can be as creative as the presenter wants. Think slideshows, personal stories, or even humor (as long as it’s kind)!
3. QR Code Matches: After each pitch, attendees can scan a QR code to express interest in a nominee.
4. Follow-Up: A few days after the event, nominees will receive a list of those who expressed interest, including their details and why they’d like to connect. Nominees decide who they’d like to follow up with—no pressure and full privacy!
5. Mix and Mingle: After the pitches, all attendees are invited to stay and mingle in a relaxed, social setting.
