For the anglophile or those who want to feel a little British just for the day, stop by Riverfront Park and check out the British Car Show hosted by the British Transportation Museum from 10 am-5 pm.  Jags, Minis, Bentleys and maybe even a Rolls Royce or Aston Martin will be shown in the park.  At 2:30 p.m. get your "Downton Abbey" on as The Flying Cloud Vintage Dance Academy performs historical ballroom dances from the early 1800s. Discover the skipping steps and playful melodies of the Contradance, Minuet, Quadrille, and Reel danced by the characters in the novels of Jane Austen intersperse with anecdotes relating to period etiquette, dance and music history. During the car show enjoy background music with quartets and quintets throughout the day by the Ohio Valley British Brass Band. At 5 p.m. they will perform their 90-minute concert.   All day families can enjoy creating British crafts and playing British games and creating their own British music with Harmony in the Park. At 7 p.m. rock out to famous British bands as Haymarket Riot from Cincinnati covers hits from British bands throughout the decades. 

Enjoy some famous English grub with Brock Masterson’s Fish and Chips.  Interactive fountain is also available in the park.  Don't forget to bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a "lovely" start to the summer. Cheers Mate!
