Art in Real Life with Carolyn Edlund: Women in the Changing Art World
Part of The Contemporary Dayton's "Art in Real Life" series, we welcome guest speaker Carolyn Edlund, founder of Artsy Shark, a nationally recognized blog and consulting service to help artists build better businesses.
This event is also part of The Contemporary Dayton's SHE Society Inaugural Season. SHE Society is designed to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, the guarantee and protection of women's constitutional right to vote. In the spirit of gratitude to The Contemporary Dayton/DVAC's founding mothers, we invite you to a series of events that critcally explore Contemporary Art by Women Artists of the Midwest.
The lecture will take place in the Eichelberger Forum Room of the Dayton Metro Library--Main Branch on October 11, 2019 from 7-8 p.m. This event is free and open to all, but registration is required at thecontemporarydayton.org.
