Art Ball at Dayton Art Institute
For 67 years, Art Ball has been the Miami Valley’s premier social event. This annual black-tie event is attended by more than 600 community and corporate leaders, top museum supporters and community patrons, and raises more than $100,000 towards the museum’s mission of bringing art to all. This year, the event will take place on Saturday, June 8, and is hosted by the DAI’s Associate Board. This year’s theme “Groove” will focus on the influence of disco and club culture on contemporary art.
The evening begins with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres followed by an elegant sit-down dinner (provided by Kohler Catering) enjoyed throughout the museum. After dinner, Art Ball patrons may enjoy live music, dancing and the ability to take advantage of some of the museum’s most special places: The Hale Cloister and The Museum Rotunda, as well as The Moonlight Lounge, which has a spectacular view of downtown Dayton. Throughout the evening, open bars are available, along with specialty martini and bourbon bars.
Art Ball Tickets will be sold closer to the date of the event. Tickets go on sale for members on April 3, and for non-members on April 6.
