- They are open 12p-9p Tuesday through Saturday
Chef Phil has been building a following operating from his food trailer in Wright Dunbar for the past few years and moved into the new space quickly to keep from freezing in the recent cold spell. Future plans include dine-in service, though that will take time. I spotted his food trailer about a block east when I popped in around 3:30p on a Thursday (1/23/25). There was a steady stream of customers despite the time.
I ordered the Chicken Tender Dinner (comes with 2 sides and a dinner roll). The deep-fried tenders were blistering hot (temp), and perfectly seasoned. The Smoked Gouda Mac is out of this world. The serving size was quite substantial. Those with a hearty appetite will be satisfied, while others may find it suitable to share between two diners. Water, Sprite, and Pepsi are available.
Currently, there is only an OPEN sign in the window. They expect their logos to be added to the windows between January 25 and 26. A new point-of-sale system expected in February will expand ordering and payment options. This was formerly Texas Beef and Cattle Company (closed 2021)
