Kids Sewing Basics - Make and Design a Canvas Tote

Kids Create is creative play while learning something fun and useful.

This is an effective and easy way to introduce your child to sewing WHILE keeping them busy during the holiday rush!

This workshop will be three and a half hours of learning and creative play.

Kids will learn sewing basics which include machine, filling a bobbin, threading, and seam allowance.

Then, the kids will use stamps and precut blocks to block print canvas then make a canvas tote bag! This class is a little but surface design and a little bit sewing lots of creative play for the kids!

Ages: 8-17

Max Students: 5

All supplies included:

1/2 yard of 60″ wide canvas

Thread to use in class

Size 16 needle to use during class

Sewing Kit to use during class

All block printing supplies will be available to use during class. 

**Please do not drop off child before 9:50am**

Parking on Grange Hall; Park in Decoy/Knickerbocker Lot
Follow either sidewalk on the side of building to the studio door that faces Dayton-Xenia.
