Sugar Maple Festival canceled for second year

The 42nd Annual Sugar Maple Festival has been cancelled

The 42nd Sugar Maple Festival, planned for April 23-25, 2021, has been canceled for the second year due to ongoing state restrictions related to the coronavirus pandemic.

A message posted on the Sugar Maple Festival website today read as follows:

"After several weeks of working with the Greene County Health Department and in conjunction with the Ohio Department of Health, the 2021 Sugar Maple Festival has been cancelled. Based on current and ongoing state restrictions related to the pandemic, we are not able to obtain permits required to proceed with our festival this year. We are saddened to share this unfortunate news, but we will be back next spring, bigger and better!"

Next year's Sugar Maple Festival will be held April 22-24, 2022.
